I am a resident of Westland, and have been for twenty years. I have one son who is a senior within the Wayne-Westland Community School District. I am a graduate of Wayne State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, and Educational Specialist degree in Reading. As an educator, I have served in the capacity of classroom teacher, Title I Coordinator, Reading Coordinator, Academy Director, Principal, and Central Office Administrator. My experience in education includes public and charter, as well as urban and suburban schools. In every single one of my education experiences I have served as an advocate for all kids. I recognize that every child is unique and their needs must be accounted for. As a member of the Wayne-Westland Community School District’s School Board, I will continue to advocate for students and educators to receive what they need in order to make our district viable and sustainable!
